This is Tara. She is a labor support specialist and new parent consultant.
She helps new families in major cities and small towns across the U.S. with a mindful, holistic, evidence based approach. Tara’s supportive services will help build your confidence as a new parent and boost your overall well being. She even has a corporate wellness program bridging the gap between maternity/paternity leave and helping executives transition back to work.
Some other fun accomplishments: Tara has attended hundreds of births as a labor support specialist, is a doula trainer, is the co-founder of Doula Trainings International, and is the mother of three children. She is a native New Yorker that lives in the SF Bay Area with her Corporate Anthropologist husband.
Unlike most folks, Tara loves public speaking. She has been heard speaking about the role of the doula at events hosted by Big City Moms, Baby Bites, Destination Maternity and Mom Talk Radio. She has been listed in several resource guides and news articles including City Baby, MyCityBaby.com, Urbanbaby.com, TimeOut Kids New York, The New York Guide to a Healthy Birth, The New York Times, Babble, Marin Mommies and The Family Groove.
Tara Brooke is available for speaking engagements to help new parents or for birth related events, seminars and lectures.
